Mau P’s official remix of Swedish House Mafia’s latest single, “Ray Of Solar,” is out now.
The second single from Swedish House Mafia’s forthcoming album has also received remix treatment from Alex Wann & Sasson and Anfisa Letyago, following its initial release last month.
Mau P, who cites Swedish House Mafia as an inspiration for his career in electronic music, has described the chance to mash up his own groovy house style with the popular track as a “full circle moment.”
“Music is definitely in my DNA, but I know for a fact that there wouldn’t be a Mau P without those early influences by the Swedish House Mafia,” he said. “I feel like every month I have to come up with a quote about another dream coming true, but nothing as insane as this one, that’s for sure.”
Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello commented, “We’ve been watching Mau P for some time and like what he has been up to. We are really glad to have him do a remix of our latest single, Ray Of Solar, enjoy!”
Mau P’s “Ray Of Solar” remix follows a number of other recent reworks from the Dutch producer, including edits of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Miracle,” and “I Want Your Soul” by Armand Van Helden.
