Monstercat is celebrating its 10th anniversary today with the release of a full-length album that features 16 tracks from artists across all three of its brands, ‘Uncaged’ ‘Instinct’ and ‘Silk.’ The 16-track album is full of songs that have helped shape Monstercat’s history, including multiple tracks that have been played out, but never released. The nostalgic 16-track album spans all genres of electronic dance music, including dubstep, electro house, future bass, and more. The album features household Monstercat names including Pegboard Nerds, Stephen Walking, Rogue, Shingo Nakamura, and Nitro Fun.

Throughout the last decade, Monstercat has continued to establish itself as one of the driving forces within the electronic dance music community. The independent electronic music label has been able to establish a large and continuously growing fanbase, which has allowed the label to pave the way for artist discovery, innovation, and sustainability for more than 1,000 emerging and high-profile artists. Monstercat CEO & Co-Founder, Mike Darlington, released the following statement regarding Monstercat’s 10-year anniversary,

“It’s almost surreal celebrating 10 years of Monstercat today. The last decade has been an incredible journey – from our humble beginnings as a Canadian start-up, to supporting over 1,000 artists worldwide. I’m proud of our team for constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation and creating a sustainable platform for artists to thrive. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next ten years of Monstercat and the electronic music community.”

In addition to releasing a nostalgic 16-track album, Monstercat has also announced a worldwide livestream event on Twitch on July 3 at 12:00 PM PST. The livestream will bring together 10 artists from around the globe to perform across different time zones and regions. Justin OH will perform in Korea, A.M.R will perform in Qatar, Mazare in Italy, and Throttle in Australia. Monstercat also announced their first record label 3D influencer, which is the label’s signature mascot blown up into full digital avatar form. The avatar will be able to join live events, appear on streams, and interact with Monstercat artists in the digital space, among other things.
