Detroit’s Movement Festival has revealed their full 2023 lineup with legendary names in house, techno, electronic, and even hip-hop.
Newly added headliners include 90s underground duo Basement Jaxx, dubstep pioneer Skrillex, hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia, Detroit techno staple Carl Craig ft. Jon Dixon (live), and a DJ set from the international favorite Bonobo.
There will also be several special sets from electronic music icons such as an Altered States set from Zeds Dead, a Kaskade Redux performance, and a solo set from Keinemusik member Adam Port.
This Memorial Day weekend from May 27-29, thousands of dance music historians and newcomers will flock to one of the longest-running electronic music festivals in the world.
Artists have a long history with Movement as highlighted by Moodyman’s return for the first time in ten years and headliner Underworld heading to Detroit after almost a quarter century.
Underworld said about their monumental performance, “It’s been 24 years since we last danced together in Detroit. We’re obviously a million light years past excited to be back with you in May at Movement Festival.”
