Thailand’s NEON Countdown Festival Returns With Martin Garrix + More For NYE 2024

Asia’s premier New Year’s Eve festival is less than two weeks away. Thailand’s NEON Countdown Festival is set to light up Bangkok this season with another two days of electrifying performances from the world’s leading EDM DJs.

Expected to draw a crowd of close to 20,000 ravers to Bangkok’s Wonder World Extreme Park on December 30-31, this year’s festival will feature an exclusive New Year’s Eve countdown set from global headliner Martin Garrix, known for his chart-topping hits like “Animals” and “Scared to Be Lonely.”

The Dutch EDM icon will be joined at NEON Countdown by Belgian heavyweights and staple Tomorrowland players Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Lost Frequencies, as well as Thailand debut performances from psy-techno queen and ARTCORE label boss Indira Paganotto, and famed melodic techno artist MRAK. The Afterlife co-founder will present his “We Don’t Follow” show, which blends hypnotic beats with the brand’s famously immersive visuals.

Elsewhere on the lineup are Belgian techno favorite Amber Broos, Oliver Heldens’ dark techno alias HI-LO, Dutch big room house duo Bassjackers, and hard-hitting Australians Dimatik and RESTRICTED, known for their respective psytrance and hardstyle sounds. Check out the full lineup below.

In addition to booming beats, attendees can expect state-of-the-art production, immersive art installations, diverse food options, and activations like beauty bars and face painting as they connect with a vibrant crowd of music lovers from across the globe, according to organizers.
