NERO Returns To Drum & Bass Roots With “Blame You”

NERO is making their triumphant return to Drum & Bass with the release of their new single “Blame You,” the second off their upcoming album, Into The Unknown. 

The trio, consisting of Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray, and Alana Watson, is finally returning from a five-year hiatus as a group.

“Blame You” is a follow up to their song “Truth” which sets a striking tone to the album with intergalactic beats and Watson’s angelic vocals. The song tells the tale of loving one another and overlooking wrong-doings that caused an “apocalypse.” Into The Unknown is an album that tells the story of this post-apocalyptic humanity.

NERO said about the release, “It’s been 14 years since we released a Drum & Bass song. We felt it was time to return to the genre.”

NERO is a Grammy-winning group most recognized for their 2011 album Welcome Reality. They previously collaborated with none other than Skrillex for their “Promises” remix, toured with deadmau5, and have helped make electronic music what it is today.
