NGHTMRE and Jordin Sparks have teamed up for a drum & bass rework of Sparks’ 2007 hit, “No Air.”
Out today on NGHTMRE’s Gud Vibrations label, the catchy D&B bop injects the award-winning pop artist’s Grammy-nominated hit with high-speed drums, sparkling synths, and warm piano chords, meshing with the emotive topline that anchored Sparks’ platinum-selling self-titled debut album.
The highly demanded ID has racked up major social media buzz since its debut during NGHTMRE’s ILLfest set in May, where Sparks joined the bass DJ for a special live vocal performance. Promo clips of the track have already racked up over 20 million views across all platforms, according to a press release.
“No Air” lands hot on the heels of NGHTMRE and Cyclops‘ collaborative single, “Computah,” which has garnered more than 400,000 streams to date. With the new tunes in tow, the producer and DJ’s busy summer touring schedule rolls on with festival appearances at Wobbleland, Global Dance Festival, Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, and more through September.
