North Coast Turns Famous Chill Dome Into Hard Techno & Riddim Stage After Dark

North Coast Music Festival

After the sun sets, North Coast’s famous Chill Dome will become a new stage for hard techno and riddim at this year’s festival.

The Labor Day weekend festival near Chicago announced on social media today that its popular daytime retreat for downtempo sets, immersive visuals, and the festival’s signature indoor laser experience will transform after dark into “The Bunker,” due to host sets from high-speed selectors like Angerfist, Nikolina, Alignment, DIØN, and GRAVEDGR, and heavy bass artists like YDG, The Resistance, Nimda, and Prosecute.

While the sun is out, the Chill Dome will remain a core part of North Coast’s multi-dimensional programming, but its new dueling personalities promise to help Chicago’s largest independently owned dance festival continue to expand its sonic blueprint with some of the most rapidly emerging genres in global electronic music.

Check out North Coast’s daily Chill Dome & The Bunker lineups for 2026 below.
