Marathon 24-Hour Parties Coming To NYC Every Weekend In 2024

There ain’t no party like a marathon party. The New York City nightclub Nowadays is revamping its monthly nonstop show concept to hold a 24-hour party every single weekend in 2024.

The new and improved Nonstop series will kick off on January 6, 2024, with performances from techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson, Ryan Elliot, ISAbella, and more. Each weekly party will run from Saturday night to Sunday night and, occasionally, even Monday morning.

The fan-favorite spot for underground tunes has already locked in the Nonstop lineup every weekend in January, recruiting the likes of Avalon Emerson, Nick León, OK Williams, Ciel, Colored Craig, DJ Voices, and many more.

The announcement follows news that the club’s lease ends in 11 months. In a mailout obtained by Resident Advisor, Nowadays’ booker Gareth Solan explained that success in being able to renew the lease is “not guaranteed.”

“So that prospect, combined with the growing appetite for extended [or] alternate hours, makes doubling down on weekly nonstops feel like the right thing to do,” he continued.

Considering the event’s updated scheme, Nowadays’ newly opened in-house Mexican restaurant, The Zumbador, will begin serving a breakfast menu. The Nowadays bar also offers coffee, smoothies, gum, protein bars, and other marathon party survival essentials.

Nowadays, the Nonstop series, initially launched in 2018, three years after Nowadays’ grand opening, has previously hosted sets from artists like Floating Points, Conducta, Marcellus Pittman, and more.

Check out all of the artists on Nowadays’ nonstop January schedule below.

Tickets for today’s nonstop parties are now available via Resident Advisor.
