Costa Rica’s Ocaso Festival has dropped the lineup for its seventh annual New Year’s adjacent celebration, coming to the country’s Guanacaste region this January.
Running from January 4-8, 2024, Ocaso Festival will expand from four days to five after making a move to The Bohemian Lagarto. On the fifth day, attendees will return home for a “special decompression event” at its previous site in Tamarindo.
For 2024, the underground house and techno event has tapped top names like Sama’ Abdulhadi, John Summit, Seth Troxler, Hannah Wants, Mind Against, and more. Joining them in support is a collection of promising local acts like Diana Vasquez, Graci Martinez, and Le Roi Carmona.
Alongside beautifully designed stages and a stunning tropical setting that has made Costa Rica a New Year’s hotspot (events like Labyrinto and BPM are also held in the Guanacaste region) Ocaso organizers are offering bundled deals on shuttles, VIP passes, table reservations, villas and a number of other accommodation options.
They have also upped the ante for 2024 with expanded food and drink options and the ability to book excursions to see the area’s surrounding wildlife, rainforests, and beaches.
Attendees looking to start their year off by giving back can also join Ocaso Festival’s Beach Cleaning Program, a collaborative endeavor with The Clean Wave. In previous years, the program has removed an average of 10kg of waste from Costa Rica’s beaches.
