Okeechobee will celebrate its five-year anniversary at Sunshine Grove from March 3-6
Today, Insomniac Events and Soundslinger have announced what most Okeechobee fans have been wanting to hear for some time, the return of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. Both parties have announced that the festival will be taking place in 2022 from March 3-6 at the Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, FL. For the first time in nearly a year, festival attendees will be able to come together once again to celebrate music, art, and community at the tight-knit Florida festival. Founder and CEO of Insomniac Events, Pasquale Rotella, had the following to say about Okeechobee’s return,
“After this long year, I couldn’t be more excited to return to Sunshine Grove and be back in nature with all my Okeechobee friends and fam. This festival is all about music, camping out, and making s’mores while dancing in a jungle, grass fields, and on a beautiful beach. It was the last festival I attended before the pandemic hit so I can’t wait to be back!”
Insomniac Events and Soundslinger agreed to a partnership back in 2019 and were able to host Okeechobee in March of 2020, which happened to be one of the world’s last major music festivals before COVID-19 swept the globe. More than 30,000 festival attendees were able to experience the immersive world of Okeechobee, whose 2020 lineup featured Rüfüs du Sol, Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons, Machine Gun Kelly, Kaskade, Glass Animals, and more. Now with Insomniac Events and Soundslinger’s recent Okeechobee announcement, fans will once again be able to dance under the Florida sky. The lineup has not been announced as of yet, but we will make sure to let you know once it is.
