Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records Announces First Drum & Bass Compilation Curated By Mazare

Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records has just announced its first drum & bass compilation will be released next Friday, August 11.

Advent – Drum & Bass is a special edition of the label’s rising artists series, curated by the Ophelia and Monstercat artist, Mazare, who brings production experience across a wide variety of genres within Ophelia’s wheelhouse.

Typically designated for up-and-coming producers in melodic bass and dubstep, Advent has become a great tool for music discovery, providing a platform for exciting new talents to make their first marks.

Ophelia Presents: Advent Volume 7 debuted last month and featured nine tracks with contributions from 20 different artists.

The D&B edition of Advent brings particular attention to 20-year-old melodic bass producer Skybreak, whose new track “Icarus” will be featured in the compilation.

According to Skybreak, “Icarus,” which is a collaborative effort with Mazare, is his first D&B track in six years and will also be released as a single this coming Monday, August 7.

With Seven Lions at the helm, Ophelia Records has exploded in just five years, and is home to over 200 catalog releases from the likes of SLANDER, Excision, Kill The Noise, MitiS, Jason Ross, Trivecta, and many more.
