San Francisco’s Outside Lands has announced its 2024 lineup ahead of the festival’s return to Golden Gate Park from August 9-11, 2024.
Collaboratively produced by Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly, Outside Lands’ 16th edition will feature headline performances from hip-hop favorite Tyler, The Creator, leading indie and alternative bands such as The Killers, The Postal Service and Jungle, and legendary country singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson, returning to perform his first full show in three years.
Also earning top billing are influential Jamaican singer-songwriter Grace Jones and dance music heavyweights Chris Lake, KAYTRANADA and Gryffin. Festival alumni Post Malone will return to Outside Lands’ main stage, honoring his Texas roots with a special country set.
Outside Lands’ roster of electronic talent continues with The Blessed Madonna, Seth Troxler, Idris Elba, Uncle Waffles, TSHA, Shiba San B2B CID, and more. These artists will perform at the festival’s dance music-dedicated SOMA space, returning to Marx Meadow in a new open-air format this year.

“Every year we start with a blank canvas and because of the diverse and sophisticated palette of Bay Area music fans, we get to program a festival that is not only multigenerational but shows an incredible range of genres and musical subcultures,” Outside Lands Co-Founder Allen Scott said in a press release.
Outside Lands has also announced the return of its wildly successful Dolores’ stage for 2024. The “inclusive dance floor where everyone is welcome” celebrates San Francisco’s vital queer and trans communities and other DIY spaces. The full Dolores lineup will be revealed in the coming months.
Other festival highlights include Grass Lands—the first curated cannabis experience at a major American music festival—and culinary experiences such as Taste of the Bay Area, Wine Lands, Beer Lands, and Cocktail Magic.
