PLS&TY has unleashed his emotional new EP, Into The Light.
Landing on Steve Aoki’s famous Dim Mak Records today, May 2, the new project sees the Florida-hailing producer and DJ—real name Tommy Leas—dive deep into “the duality of darkness and hope, and love and resilience,” according to a press release, across three tracks packed with his signature melodies.
Tying together themes of vulnerability and strength on Into The Light is “Leave The Light On,” an anthemic groove about loving through hardship with poignant vocals from x.o.anne, “Constellations,” a dreamy, deep house ode to unconditional love with Richard Walters, and the title track, “Into The Light,” a euphoric breakbeat collaboration with Miggy De La Rosa, said to serve as “a guiding light for anyone navigating hard times.”
“Into The Light is an emotional reflection of the human experience,” PLS&TY said in a press release. “Each song speaks to moments we all encounter, from heartbreak and uncertainty to the enduring power of love and connection.”
After a bevy of nationwide club tours, festival performances at Bonnaroo, EDC Las Vegas, and Electric Forest, worldwide radio plays, and hundreds of millions of streams—including more than 60 million on his hit single “Your Love,” featuring Sofiya Nzau—Into The Light marks yet another watershed moment in PLS&TY’s career, as he embarks on his first multi-record deal with Aoki’s legendary independent.
“The team truly understands the lifestyle, culture, and movement of dance music,” Aoki said of the new alliance in a press release. “I’ve always seen PLS&TY as more than just music—it’s art, visuals, aesthetic. With this partnership, I get to expand on that.”
