Porter Robinson Shares Details For His Latest Side Project, Air To Earth

Porter Robinson

Porter Robinson fans rejoice as he just announced yet another side project! This new alias is called Air To Earth, and it is dedicated to DJing progressive house:

“ANNOUNCING: my new live-only dj sideproject called Air to Earth. it’s focused on sample-driven, tranquil proghouse and airy disco. i’ll be opening both days of Second Sky with this project!”

According to a series of tweets, Robinson created Air To Earth because he loves the feeling of walking into a festival to these kinds of sounds. The idea of it being a live-only DJ project implies he won’t release any original music under the name. It will be an experience that only exists on the dance floor.

This is another piece of exciting news for Robinson’s incoming festival, Second Sky. Recently, he shared that the design firm behind the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter at Universal Studios will create interactive environments at the festival.

Read on to see the full announcement from Porter Robinson. There is a clip teasing the style of music to expect from Air To Earth.

Second Sky will take place September 18-19 at Oakland Arena Grounds. Purchase tickets here.
