Today, Goldenvoice announced a new music festival is coming to San Francisco this Fall. The event is called Portola Music Festival and it features one of the most intricate, exciting, and eclectic rosters in the history of American dance music.

Taking place on Pier 80 across the weekend of September 24-25, the level of talent appeals to all members of the culture. The two headliners, Flume and The Chemical Brothers respectively, tap into the past and the present of major electronic music artists.

Further down, celebrated live acts like James Blake and Jungle will provide some band-style energy while popular rave DJs including Justin Martin, Fatboy Slim, and Hot Since 82 do their thing behind the decks.

Other standout artists that contribute to the heady dance atmosphere are the melodic garage prodigy, ELKKA, a back-to-back set from the well-known collaborators Four Tet and Floating Points, and the full Keinemusik crew of Adam Port, &ME, and Rampa coming together once again.

“This is the festival I’ve wanted to produce for the past decade. San Francisco is the perfect city for it and now is the perfect time! Let’s dance and have a great time this September!” says Danny Bell, Vice President Talent Buyer at Goldenvoice.
