Pretty Lights Announces Two-Night Run At Hampton Coliseum

Pretty Lights is extending his comeback well into 2024. In addition to landmark festival appearances at Electric Forest and Bonnaroo, the famed producer has just announced a two-night run at Virginia’s Hampton Coliseum this summer.

Pretty Lights–AKA Derek Vincent Smith–will perform “live from the Mothership” with his full band at the Hampton Coliseum on May 31 and June 1, 2024, alongside an as-of-yet unannounced collection of artist-curated talent in support.

Pretty Lights’ return to the stage in 2023 after a more than five-year hiatus took the dance music world by storm. In a comeback of epic proportions, the artist’s 27-date SoundShip SpaceSystem tour touched down in locations like Denver, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco and Tennesee’s famous subterranean venue, The Caverns.

A full comeback wouldn’t have been complete without a few festival appearances, so Pretty Lights also graced the stage at beloved festivals like Suwanee Hulaween and Cascade Equinox Festival in the fall of 2023.

Though he has returned to touring, we haven’t seen Pretty Lights release new music since 2017’s “Rainbows & Waterfalls.” With the Hampton Coliseum joining Pretty Lights’ previously announced gigs at Electric Forest and Bonnaroo–including a bonus sunrise set–this summer could be an excellent opportunity for fans to hear new music from the masterful producer before it is released.

Pre-sale tickets for Pretty Lights at the Hampton Coliseum will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, February 21 at 10AM ET. General on-sale will follow on Thursday, February 23 at 10AM ET. Fans can register for pre-sale ticket access here.
