Pretty Lights is officially heading back on tour after a five-year hiatus.

The famed producer posted the announcement for his SoundShip SpaceSystem Tour on social media alongside a stunning video of otherworldly intergalactic visuals, mystical prism displays, and clips from his past performances all encapsulated in dancing, pretty lights.

The song in the background tells the story of his return saying, “I’ll find a place to rest my spirit if I can, perhaps I may become a Pretty Light again.”

The announced locations of the tour include Denver, Lake Dillon, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, The Caverns, San Francisco, and New Orleans.

There will be 27 total dates in nine cities plus two festival appearances in the summer and fall of 2023.

Derek Vincent Smith, also known as Pretty Lights, was a legendary producer from the early 2000s to the late 2010s, releasing his last single in 2017. His combination of psychedelic and electronic music ushered in a new sound during the times when Brostep and Big Room reigned supreme.
