After a highly-anticipated comeback to the live performance realm in 2023, Pretty Lights is here to stay. Yesterday, the masterful producer announced a 24-date U.S. tour that will touch down at some of the country’s most famous venues this summer.
In addition to previously announced headline appearances at Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Austin City Limits and The Hampton Coliseum, Prettylights’ “Soundship Spacesystem 2024 Check Your Vector Tour” will include a monumental two-night run at Morrison, Colorado’s famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre on August 2 and 3.
The Red Rocks shows will mark Pretty Lights’ first performance at the venue since 2018, then his last show before taking a five-year hiatus from touring.
Later in August, the artist, otherwise known as Derek Vincent Smith, will bring his full live band to Bethel, New York, the home of Woodstock, for two shows at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
As summer becomes fall, another two-night run in Lake Tahoe in September will give way to a late October doubleheader at a to-be-announced venue. Florida fans have been quick to point out on social media that the blurred-out October dates coincide with this year’s Suwannee Hulaween, a frequent performance stop throughout Pretty Lights’ career.
In November, Pretty Lights will play three shows at Minneapolis’ The Armory and Florida’s St. Augustine Amphitheatre, before closing the tour at Boston’s Roadrunner in December. Find a complete list of tour dates below.
Though he has returned to touring, Pretty Lights hasn’t released new music since 2017’s “Rainbows & Waterfalls.” With a big summer run on the horizon, devoted fans are hopeful he’ll complete his comeback on the music production front too.
