Florida native, PLS&TY is back with a summer impassioned roller-coaster track titled, “New Color,” from his upcoming EP, 3 Days, 2 Nights.
“New Color” takes on a more vibrant tone with sultry yet soulful vocals that express the power of brightness amidst darkness. The track features organic melodies, piano-led instrumentals, and a softly undulating bassline, creating a refreshing element within the track.
PLS&TY put his break from music to use by diving straight into the NFT world, co-designing skateboard deck NFTs for Tony Hawk, as well as developing visuals for renowned athletes like Floyd Mayweather and even members of Congress.
His NFT projects have gained recognition, with Billboard listing them at #3 and #10 in Top Music NFT Sales alongside music icons like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and David Bowie in August and September 2022.
When speaking on the newest single in a press release, PLS&TY states, “‘New Color’ is the latest single from my upcoming 3 Days, 2 Nights EP, and the second track that highlights a daytime theme/motif. Bringing a modified PLS&TY sound and lighthearted piano-house production, I hope you enjoy this song full of the emotions of love. It’s about feeling vulnerable and alone, like everything exists bleakly in black-and-white, until someone or something special fills everything up with new color & life.”
