Rampage, “The Biggest Drum & Bass And Dubstep Party In The Universe,” Is Coming To The US

Hey USA! Do you hear that rumbling? Is the water in your glass rippling for some unknown reason? No, it’s not because of a dinosaur. It’s because Rampage is coming to the US for the first time ever.

Known as “The Biggest Drum & Bass And Dubstep Party In The Universe,” the official Rampage Instagram shared a video featuring an American flag, but instead of stars, there are 50 of the bass-heavy event’s famous hockey-mask logo.

Since beginning in 2009 in Antwerp, Belgium, Rampage has set itself apart as a festival where every kind of basshead can thrive. Originally, the event took place in a 1000-person club called Trix, hosting classic artists like Sub Focus, Camo & Krooked, and Flux Pavilion.

Now, Rampage has grown into an international sensation, taking all forms of low-end music to different parts of the globe including Amsterdam, Toulouse, and Bristol, while also hosting stages at major festivals like Tomorrowland. The flagship event, Rampage Weekend, still happens in Antwerp, hosting nearly 20,000 attendees.

On these numerous stops all of the major names in bass music like Excision, Noisia, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Pendulum, and Subtronics have made appearances.

As of now very little is known about the American excursion of Rampage. The post provides no information in terms of lineup, date, or location, but wherever this party lands, architects better do a survey of the building’s foundations.
