Are You Ready for the Loudest Music Festival Ever?

This year has been a big year for many festival goers. Every time you turned around there was another announcement about the next “can’t-miss” festival. We here at EDM Maniac have been there to cover many of these must-see festivals you. From knights in shining armor at Middlelands, to the Las Vegas Speedway for EDC, to the mystical forest at Electric Forest, to the new larger venue for Global Dance Festival, to a totally eclipsed sun at Oregon Eclipse Gathering, we have been there to share every moment with you.

Now we get ready to cover what has been promised to be the filthiest bass festival in the last 65 million years. For 3 days they are bringing in the best and most bass-heavy DJs since the extinction of the dinosaurs. Add 500,000 watts of bass on top of that and you have a recipe for a headbanger’s DREAM. With an immersive environment full of dinosaurs and cave people walking around everywhere, it will be the perfect place for a wook like myself to blend in. We are of course talking about the first-ever Lost Lands festival put on by the God of bass himself, Excision.

Lost Lands is located at the beautiful Legend Valley Concert Venue in Thornville, OH, just 30 minutes East of Columbus, OH. It is a completely immersive festival offering 4 days of camping with the Thursday early arrival pass. Excision got together with some of his friends to bring us the sickest bass music lineup including Cookie Monsta, Funtcase, Ghastly, Herobust, Illenium, Kill the Noise, Liquid Stranger, Rezz, Seven Lions, Slander, Snails, and Zeds Dead. They are even bringing Destroid back for another show and even having a special b2b set with Datsik and Excision! On top of all that, Excision will be playing 3 days of the Paradox!

When Excision announced that he was putting on a 3-day festival with 4 days of camping called Lost Lands, I was all over it. As a hardcore headbanger from the metal scene, I have always had an interest in bass-heavy music and dubstep in particular. So the announcement that most of my favorite artists were all playing in one spot was extremely exciting! Now here we are only 10 days away from the festival that is guaranteed to shake the earth, and I can barely contain my excitement!

Please remember that this is a “Leave No Trace” event, so bring lots of trash bags to pack out what you pack in. Please avoid things like individual water bottles and take our planet into account when you are packing. Clean up after yourself everywhere you go and help out others. Team Excision has already said that they WILL reward those who are treating Mother Earth with respect.

Camping has already sold out, but you can still get your ticket to this historic event HERE!

This is a flow-friendly festival, including gloves! Check out a full list of the rules HERE!

I can’t wait to see all you beautiful headbangas there as we unite as one tribe for 4 days!!!
