Shows At Red Rocks Amphitheatre Postponed Due To A Dangerous Fire

High winds and a fire on the West side of the Denver area postponed the first show of the season at legendary venue Red Rocks Amphitheatre this past week.

On Friday, March 31, instrumentalist, DJ, and producer DABIN was slated to open the season with his highly anticipated “Sanctuary” show. But the region surrounding the venue was put under a pre-evacuation fire warning, meaning the concert could not go on.

AEG Presents stated to ticket holders, “Due to wildfires around Red Rocks, accompanied by very high winds, Morrison is under a pre-evacuation fire warning. As safety is of the utmost concern, we sadly must postpone tonight’s DABIN concert at Red Rocks. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. New date TBA.”

While many were disappointed by the cancelled event, those lucky enough to arrive early were able to see a free and impromptu show at Temple Nightclub.

Luckily, the fire is mostly contained as of April 3 and Dom Dolla was able to safely headline his show at Red Rocks on April 1.

Upcoming Red Rocks shows this season include a sold-out Skrillex show on April 29, Madeon Live on October 29, and Wakaan Rocks with Liquid Stranger, Ravenscoon, Canabliss, TVBOO, and DRINKURWATER on October 21.
