It’s Official: Red Rocks To Resume Full Capacity Starting June 21st

Starting June 21, Red Rocks will return to hosting full capacity events

Red Rocks has revealed that as of now, the seating capacity limit for the legendary amphitheater has increased to 6,300 fans, doubling its previous capacity limit of 2,800 fans. Furthermore, Red Rocks has publicly stated that starting June 21, the venue will be resuming full capacity events, however, individual shows may not be sold to full capacity, and the 2021 schedule is still subject to change depending on artist availability. As of right now, face coverings will be required at the Visitors Center, Trading Post, and restrooms.

Red Rocks’ full capacity is around 9,500 people, which means fans should start getting incredibly excited considering there will be more tickets available for upcoming Red Rocks shows. Recently, Red Rocks began giving out COVID-19 shots so that more young people can become vaccinated. The program is called, ‘a shot, a pop, a shirt, and a show’ and is supported by the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment and Safety.

The announcement of Red Rocks returning to full capacity events starting in June means fans will be able to experience Zeds Dead’s ‘Deadrocks,’ RÜFÜS DU SOL, REZZ, and more in peak Red Rocks form.

We hope that you are as excited as we are about Red Rocks’ return to full capacity events, and make sure to get your Red Rocks tickets before they sell out!
