Rezz has officially announced her new album, As The Pendulum Swings.
The midtempo bass heavyweight and beloved “space mom” confirmed on social media yesterday that her latest full-length LP will arrive via her own HypnoVizion Records imprint on September 12.
Though the full tracklist is under wraps at the time of writing, fans can expect As The Pendulum Swings to feature 13 tracks, including previously released archival hits “Contorted” and “Telepathy,” as well as “Prophecy,” a third single due out tonight at midnight.
Serving as the opener to the new LP, “Prophecy” effortlessly shapeshifts between a tightly wound mechanical groove and ominous synth textures, showcasing sharpened sound design and a new sonic ethos that draws on elements of French electro and dark techno.
Upon its release, As The Pendulum Swings will mark the Canadian producer and DJ’s fifth studio album as Rezz, following recent releases such as her 2023 goth-themed EP, IT’S NOT A PHASE, and 2024 heavy bass album, CAN YOU SEE ME?.
