Rezz & Grabbitz Release Punk-Inspired Track, “Signal”

Grabbitz and Rezz have collaborated once more, unveiling “Signal,” from Rezz’s forthcoming EP, titled It’s Not A Phase.

This is the highly anticipated sequel to their successful 2020 track “Someone Else,” which reached the top positions on alternative radio charts in Canada and the US and garnered over 40 million streams on Spotify.

The new song represents a melodious blend of Rezz and Grabbitz’s shared musical styles, combining elements of electronic and rock genres. “Signal” embodies their punk-inspired aesthetic both in its sound and lyrics, featuring raw emotional intensity and gritty tones.

The song immediately captures attention with its edgy and unique qualities, showcasing Rezz’s dynamic builds and haunting midtempo drops while Grabbitz sings about longing for a sign or communication, stating, “I’m still waiting for a signal from you.”

By adopting the distinct characteristics of rock and electronic music, “Signal” reinforces the nostalgic references and cross-genre experimentation found throughout Rezz’s upcoming EP titled “It’s Not A Phase.”
