For trap fans, RL Grime dropping his annual Halloween mix is a bigger event than Halloween itself.
Every year since 2012, the Sable Valley label boss has delivered an eclectic, bass-fueled series of tracks that span numerous genres. Trap is definitely the foundation, but hip-hop, jungle, and even house music have made appearances in these spooky mixtures.
This year, the mix is a little bit different as it is a live recording from RL Grime’s recent show at The Hollywood Palladium. The show itself took place over Halloween weekend on October 28, 2021. That means the mix is not only spooky as hell, but it captures the energy of a live performance.
