RL Grime Teases Another Project, “GRID,” Just Days After Announce Of Album ‘APEX’

RL Grime just teased another new project: an “audio experience” titled “GRID.”

Earlier this week, trap fans collectively jumped for joy as trap king and EDM legend RL Grime revealed that his third album, APEX, would be out on September 15, 2023.

The news was revealed in a video reminiscent of themes that would come on screen when you started a new video game. APEX was called an “audio experience” for “the APEX World System.”

But earlier this morning, another video was posted with a similar theme and another title called “GRID” also with the date of September 15, 2023.

If this could be a Skrillex-esque double-header album release or a completely new project or tour is unclear.

RL Grime has already released three tracks off APEX: Renegade” featuring old-school dubstep legends NERO, “Pour Your Heart Out” with 070 Shake, and “Breach” with longtime collaborator Juelz.

It’s been five years since RL Grime released a full album with 2018’s NOVA containing industry-shaking bangers like “Take It Away,” “I Want To Know,” and the LA native anthem, “UCLA.”
