Sacred Acre Festival Unveils Bass-Heavy Lineup For 2024 Return To Alaska

Bass music is heading North—really far North. Sacred Acre, a unique festival located in coastal Alaska, has unveiled its full 2024 lineup.

Situated between the beaches and forests of South Central Alaska’s Cook Inlet, the three-day camping festival will return to Ninilchik, Alaska’s ARCHES campground for its third consecutive edition this September 6-8, 2024.

Dubstep and freeform bass heavyweight PEEKABOO will headline Sacred Acre 2024 alongside longstanding breakbeat and high-octane bass collective The Glitch Mob. Leading support performances will come from more scene favorites such as Dirtwire, Wreckno and Zingara.

Further down the roster, Canadian electronic jam duo Moontricks and Denver-based trip-hop artist Late Night Radio are also slated to perform, in addition to a set from funky house duo The Sponges and solo performances from The Glitch Mob members edIT and ooah. Check out the complete lineup below.

Beyond showcasing some of the world’s leading electronic artists, Sacred Acre’s mission includes raising awareness about factory trawling, an industrial fishing method in which boats drag large nets along the ocean floor. This practice is known to be incredibly destructive to marine wildlife, especially in Alaska, which boasts the largest tidal ranges—the difference between high and low tide—in the United States.

As such, Sacred Acre’s experiential programming—which also includes yoga, sound healing, and breathwork sessions—will again feature immersive education and advocacy workshops on the pertinent issue.

When they aren’t busting a move to sick beats, attendees can explore the Alaskan wilderness of Sacred Acre’s 40-acre festival site, including area hiking trails, tide pools, and even the Northern Lights, which are visible in the region from mid-August to mid-April.

Additional information, tickets, and travel and experience packages for Sacred Acre 2024 are now available at the festival’s official website.
