Samm Shares Afro House Remix Of Lost Frequencies’ “Head Down”

Fresh from signing with Tomorrowland’s One World Artists agency, rising melodic house producer Samm has shared his official remix of “Head Down” by Lost Frequencies & Bastille.

The delightfully melodic remake of one of Lost Frequencies’ most popular songs is a consummate example of Samm’s distinctive style, in which ethereal melodies and graceful vocals are seamlessly blended and cut with deep, driving beats.

As Afro house continues to shine on stages worldwide, Samm’s “Head Down” remix sees the Belgian artist dive deeper into a sonic precedent set on his red-hot 2023 track “Does It Matter.”

Tipped by many as their track of the year, “Does It Matter” earned support from epic names such as Solomun, Adriatique, CamelPhat and Keinemusik at revered parties like Circoloco, Brunch Electronik and more. Now, after securing his first breakthrough hit, Samm has further developed this intoxicating fusion of Afro house and melodic dance music with his new “Head Down” remix.

Samm’s new record label, Magnifik—launched with his close friend and equally atmospheric producer Ajna—is expected to pave the way for even more melodic and Afro house hits. This May, the label’s presence will be felt at Belgium’s Extrema Outdoor festival with a Magnifik stage takeover, featuring performances from AMÉMÉ, Sona, Avangart Tabldot and more.

Last year, Samm made his Tomorrowland debut, sharing the Atmosphere stage with the likes of Black Coffee and Dixon. Newly aligned with the esteemed Belgian mega-festival, he’ll return to Tomorrowland again in 2024, this time sharing the Crystal Garden stage with Keinemusik.

Later in the summer, Samm will seize another career-defining moment, making his debut at Pacha Ibiza for CamelPhat’s Tuesday night residency on September 3.
