Sammy Virji Extends Tour, Unveils Sophomore Album, ‘Same Day Cleaning’

Sammy Virji

Sammy Virji has set the release date for his sophomore album, Same Day Cleaning.

The UK garage sensation revealed on social media Friday that his next LP will arrive via Capitol Records on September 19, following another explosive year that has seen the British producer and DJ’s famous wobblers crack the mainstream on both sides of the pond.

Though details remain scarce at the time of writing, Same Day Cleaning will feature previously released singles including “Nostalgia,” featuring Issey Cross, which dazzled some of Coachella’s biggest crowds upon its release in April, and “Cops & Robbers,” a heroic link-up with British music titan and legendary grime MC Skepta that arrived late last month.

More information, including new guest collaborators, will be unveiled in the coming months. Virji’s debut album, Spice Up My Life, was released in May 2020.

To celebrate the LP announcement, Virji threw down unreleased tunes from the new project at a surprise pop-up set in Times Square on Friday, before heading to Forest Hills Stadium to play the famous New York City venue in another historic first.

While the NYC show marked sunset on the first leg of his 2025 North American tour, Virji announced today that he’ll travel back across the pond for 13 more dates this fall, beginning with festival dates at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival and Lollapalooza on August 1-2. Other locations include the Historic Sears Building in Los Angeles, Denver’s Civic Center Park, Austin City Limits, District Atlanta, Hulaween, HISTORY Toronto, Detroit’s Russell Industrial Center, and more through November 15.

Pre-sale tour registration is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access begins this Wednesday, June 18, at 10AM local time. General on-sale will follow on Friday, June 20, at 10 AM local time.
