Singapore Airlines To Offer Free In-Flight Wi-Fi On All Planes

Singapore Airlines is joining the list of airlines offering free in-flight Wi-Fi for all customers on all flights throughout its network.

Beginning July 1, Singapore Airlines customers will now be able to scroll the web, do work, watch movies, and even text via internet services all while flying at least 20,000 feet in the air.

Many US airlines are beginning to understand the necessity of staying connected in the air as Delta now offers free Wi-Fi. Other airlines like JetBlue, Southwest, and Alaska Airlines allow texting through the use of internet-based text messaging services.

International airlines Nok Air, Norwegian Air, and Qantas also currently offer free in-flight Wi-Fi for customers.

And even more free and reliable Wi-Fi is coming to flight carriers as Hawaiian Airlines announced plans to offer free Starlink Wi-Fi on transpacific routes in April 2022.

Starlink is a satellite-accessing internet provider which even has the ability to host Zoom meetings and FaceTime calls in the air and will be installed on all Hawaiian Airlines planes soon.

And with the new ViaSat-3 satellite set to be in its final position in June or July, Wi-Fi services on American Airlines, DeltaJetBlue, and United are about to become more reliable and faster.
