Skrillex Drops Fourth Studio Album: ‘FUS’

Skrillex

Skrillex has dropped his latest album, F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3.

With a lengthy tracklist to match its lengthy title, the 34-track album arrives today via joint release on Atlantic Records and Skrillex’s recently revived OWSLA label, marking the electronic icon’s fourth studio LP after a two-year wait.

Though each of the tracks on F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 clocks in at less than three minutes, the album plays out as a cohesive mix, with each of its tunes seamlessly blended over its 46-minute runtime.

Major inclusions on the album include buzzed-about IDs like “SPITFIRE” and “VOLTAGE,” which date back well over a decade, and high-profile link-ups with electronic titans like Joker, Virtual Riot, Space Laces, Boy Noize, G Jones, and more.

After dipping into an array of club-centric styles on his last two albums, Don’t Get Too Close and Quest For Fire, Skrillex’s latest offering sees the world-beating producer return to the aggressive, glitchy styles of brostep and trap he revolutionized 15 years ago. With a title that feels like an FU to the haters, Skrillex again stakes his claim as one of electronic music’s foremost visionaries.

The album release follows a series of audio teasers Skrillex has shared with fans in recent weeks, and will mark his final release with Atlantic before going independent.
