Skrillex, Four Tet, & Champion Set Release For Bouncy ID, “Talk To Me”

Skrillex

Skrillex, Four Tet, and Champion are set to release their new collaborative single, “Talk To Me.”

The bouncy club track will arrive on November 1, the artists announced on Instagram stories today, marking the first official release from the trio of electronic luminaries.

“Talk To Me” sees Skrillex join the respective electronica and UK funky trailblazers to rework their 2016 limited release single, “Flip Side,”—this time peppered with even more wobbly, distorted bass and spoken-word vocals from Indian-born, Los Angeles-based artist Naisha.

The track has quickly become an in-demand ID since its live debut during Four Tet’s set at Lollapalooza in July, and has picked up even more steam across plays at the British artist’s recent performance at Portola and a back-to-back with Fred again.. in Chicago.

“Talk To Me” marks Skrillex’s fourth official release of 2024 following the Fred again.. collaboration “glow,” which also features contributions from Four Tet, among others. Last month, Four Tet linked up with Ellie Goulding to release their collaborative single, “In My Dreams,” following the release of his 12th studio album, Three, in March, while Champion recently remixed Caribou’s “Broke My Heart.”

Two more IDs from Champion and Skrillex, one dubbed “Zig Anthem” and another unnamed track with Noisia, have garnered buzz in recent performances from Skrillex. Both tracks were featured in Skrillex’s Instagram Stories ID dump in February but are yet to be officially announced.
