Skrillex’s ‘Bangarang’ EP Just Turned Nine Years Old

Feel old yet? Skrillex’sBangarang‘ EP has turned nine years old as of today. December 23, 2011, was when Skrillex released his ‘Bangarang‘ EP for the first time. Skrillex’sBangarangEP features a ton of hit singles including Bangarang with Sirah, Breakn’ a Sweat with The Doors, and Kyoto with Sirah as well as Summit with Ellie Goulding. Skrillex’s EP has collected billions of downloads and streams on Apple Music and Spotify and showcases his production diversity and dubstep sounds along with impressive vocals coming from some of the music industry’s most talented vocalists.

Skrillex’sBangarang‘ EP was nominated for both Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Album at the Grammy Awards in 2012. Skrillex won Best Dance Album for his ‘Bangarang’ EP and has continued to produce countless hit singles and collaborative tracks ever since. Skrillex’s Bangarangis a pivotal album for many of us, as it introduced many of us to dubstep and electronic dance music altogether. Now, the EP that introduced many of us to the harder side of electronic dance music has turned nine years old but still remains alive and well within the dance music community.
