Sober ravers heading to Coachella will find a welcoming community in the dry camping option dubbed “Soberchella”.
The dry camping option is alcohol-free and substance-free and all attendees have to do is request the sober lot when entering the grounds.
For those who are in recovery, sober, or simply want a more chill environment, this is a great option if they plan to camp at Coachella.
An email sent out by the festival stated, “Whether new to the sober lifestyle, straight-edge or it’s simply your preferred way of life, this hub is meant to connect you with like-minded individuals,”
And those who don’t drink can still enjoy all of the fun with the first-ever partnership with a non-alcoholic brand, the LA-based The New Bar.
The two pop-up bars on the grounds will serve Hop Wtr, French Bloom wine, Heineken 0.0, Kin Euphorics products, and other alcohol-free brands. Mocktails will be made with spiritless tequila and bourbon substitutes for festival-exclusive options.
