Solomun To Play 400-Year-Old French Castle This Summer

The venues on Solomun’s upcoming summer tour schedule continue to amaze. Just one week after Framework revealed that he’ll be playing an abandoned California power plant this June, the renowned German-Bosnian selector has unveiled a gig at France’s grandiose Château de Chantilly.

The historic, over 400-year-old castle—first constructed in 1560 and rebuilt in the 1870s—will host a five-hour extended set from Solomun on Friday, June 21, 2024 for Paris Fashion Week.

Located in the town of Chantilly, roughly 30 miles north of Paris, Château de Chantilly has been hailed as “one of the most beautiful castles in France” by the event’s collaborative organizers Atlas Artists, Live Nation and France’s Gärten Festival.

Designated as a “monument historique” by the French Ministry of Culture in 1988, the castle and its sprawling, perfectly manicured lawn—once a home for wealthy aristocrats—has been home to Gärten Festival’s annual single-day festival since 2022.

Gärten Festival’s first edition featured headliners NTO and Yuksek, and its highly-touted follow-up in 2023 invited Stephan Bodzin, Agents Of Time, Notre Dame and more. With the brand yet to announce any festival plans for 2024, it appears Solomun’s event will take its place this summer.

Solomun has played some incredible venues over the years, from the Théâtre Antique d’Orange for Cercle in 2018, to long nights at Pacha Ibiza and Tulum. In Gärten’s biggest booking yet, the Diynamic Music boss is set to add another historic landmark to his performance resume.

Solomun at Château de Chantilly will run from 6:30PM to 2AM local time. However, the show’s official event page states that entry to the venue will only be allowed until 11:30PM. Fans will want to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss out.

Pre-sale registration for Solomun at Château de Chantilly is now available here. Pre-sale access will begin this Friday, April 5 at 12PM CET (6AM ET).
