Organizers Share Debut Lineup For Summer Camp Rebrand, Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie

Earlier this month, the organizers of Summer Camp Music Festival revealed their newest endeavor, Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie, which will take Summer Camp’s place in 2024. Now, Solshine’s debut lineup has arrived, with over 50 different acts slated to play the festival at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois, from May 24-26, 2024.

Solshine’s diverse, cross-genre lineup includes headline dance acts like John Summit, deadmau5 and SLANDER, alongside jam-band favorites such as Goose, The String Cheese Incident and longtime Summer Camp partner moe.

Continuing a penchant for sonic exploration, Solshine has leaned heavily into bass music for 2024, tapping further performances from Barclay Crenshaw, Maddy O’Neal, Wreckno, Zingara, Eprom and Levity, in addition to electronic-jam hybrid acts like STS9 and Big Gigantic.

The festival’s jam offerings will continue with the instrumental talents of Umphrey’s McGee, Doom Flamingo, Keller Williams, Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes and many more.

As part of the new festival’s introduction, Summer Camp Founder Ian Goldberg has promised that Solshine will hold the same core values of inclusivity, discovery and sustainability shared by “Scamp” throughout its cherished 22-year run.

“Summer Camp had evolved into much more than a music festival, it was a community centered around music and art,” Goldberg said in a press release. “I wanted to recognize that in the name by not calling it a festival but a Reverie full of music and arts, such that we all can create our experience together–and have that build intentionality in our actions once we leave.”

Tickets for Summer Camp presents Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie, all of which include camping, are now available at the festival’s official website.
