Stockholm is working with the Tim Bergling Foundation to construct an Avicii memorial in Humlegården Park
Last week, we reported that an official Avicii biography will be released on November 16 which would provide an inside and never-before-seen look into the life of the Swedish DJ. Now, the district of Östermalm and the city of Stockholm are working with Avicii’s father and the rest of the Tim Bergling Foundation to create a special memorial for Tim which is expected to be constructed by the summer of 2022 with the final decision on the location of the memorial and its structure to be made on April 22, 2021.
The district of Östermalm is where Avicii grew up and developed a passion at a young age for electronic dance music. Not only will the memorial be paying tribute to Tim, but to others who have been affected by mental illness in Sweden.
