Subtronics Announces His Second Album Is In The Works

Bassheads rejoice: superstar producer Subtronics has announced that his second album is on the way.

While details are limited, the dubstep golden boy revealed on Twitter earlier this week that he has started recording a new album–the follow-up to his debut 16-track LP, FRACTALS, which was released last year.

The announcement also featured a brief video of him playing a “new ID that’s been going off” live to a massive crowd. It is a safe bet that the track will be featured on the new album, though nothing about the album has been confirmed just yet—including a title or release date.

After an explosive rise that has placed him at the top of the modern bass scene, Subtronics has become one of the most sought-after acts in EDM, collaborating with the best artists in bass and making serious headway with his label Cyclops Recordings.

Subtronics is currently in the midst of a busy summer tour that will take him to festivals across the continent including Lollapalooza, Veld Music Festival, Elements, Lost Lands, and Imagine Music Festival—where he and Ganja White Night will play a B2B set for the first time ever.

Those hoping to catch a sneak peek at music from the upcoming album can check out Subtronics’ complete list of tour dates here.
