Swedish House Mafia Have Signed With The Weeknd’s Manager

Swedish House Mafia has signed with Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby, The Weeknd’s manager.

In March, legendary trio Swedish House Mafia parted ways with Columbia Records and previous manager Ron Laffitte. According to Billboard, the electronic supergroup has now signed with Sal Slaiby who was named 2020’s manager of the year by Variety. Slaiby represents not only Swedish House Mafia, but also The Weeknd, Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign, Doja Cat, and French Montana. Slaiby will be the third Swedish House Mafia manager who will be following the likes of previous manager, Amy Thomson.

The Swedish electronic group has not confirmed whether or not they have officially signed to the new label, but it is looking that way based on the group’s confirmed studio sessions in February of this year and other various social media snippets that have been posted recently.

Could this be the year Swedish House Mafia returns to headline festivals? We’re not sure, but we’d like to think so.
