The legendary trio Swedish House Mafia is primed for a full comeback as they sign a residency deal at XS Nightclub at The Wynn in Las Vegas. The two-year contract includes performances at both XS and Encore Beach Club. The last time the trio played Las Vegas was on Halloween in 2010 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The Swedes said about the residency, “We love going from arenas to clubs, from huge epic raves to intimate club shows and then back into the arena… That balance is really important to us and our fans.”
Swedish House Mafia; consisting of Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Axel “Axwell” Hedfors; notoriously disbanded in 2013, later coming together for a reunion show at Ultra in 2018.
Their latest album, Paradise Again, came out this past April following their comeback performance at Coachella 2022, and their ability to make hits has not wavered as “Moth To A Flame” with The Weeknd has over 300 million listens on Spotify.
The Wynn Nightlife umbrella encompasses prominent venues like XS and Encore Beach Club as well as the newly acquired Wynn Field Club at Allegiant Stadium.
The Wynn will be making modifications to the venue’s audios, visuals, LED displays, and pyrotechnics to further enhance the group’s production. But the Wynn venues have always had a special connection with EDM hosting residencies from David Guetta and Diplo and performances from Avicii, The Chainsmokers, and Marshmello.
