Swedish House Mafia Reveal Surprise Takeover At Ultra Miami

Swedish House Mafia has confirmed a special guest takeover at Ultra Miami this weekend.

After festival organizers and the famed dance trio hinted at an awaited return to the festival in a series of cryptic social media posts earlier today, they’ve now officially unveiled a headline performance and curated takeover of Ultra’s famous main stage on Saturday night.

Paying homage to the culture and musical identity that have defined Swedish House Mafia’s two decades of success, the happening is set to unfold as “a festival within a festival,” according to a press release, with additional performances from Afrojack, Boys Noize, Armand Van Helden, Kelly Lee Owens, and MPH. But first, the evening opens with a rare B2B from Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. Check out the flyer below.

Then, Axwell joins for a closing performance from the full trio, marking their first appearance at Ultra since 2023 and the latest of several history-making sets at the Florida festival. In 2018, they reunited as a surprise closing act for Ultra’s 20th anniversary after their five-year split. Before their brief breakup, they also famously played what was thought to be their final show together at Ultra in 2013.

Ultra is the first milestone in what’s set to be a landmark 2026 for Swedish House Mafia, who will also return to Ibiza for a new residency at Ushuaïa, play two sold-out homecoming shows at Sweden’s Ullevi Stadium, and headline Goldenvoice’s first Head Trip festival in Indio this fall.

Ultra Music Festival returns to downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park this weekend, March 27-29. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit ultramusicfestival.com.
