Today, Disco Donnie Presents and their 12 international festival partners have returned with the final lineup phase for Texas Eclipse 2024.
Taking place from April 5-9, 2024, the festival is set to attract more than 50,000 music and astronomy lovers who will descend upon Burnet, Texas’ Reveille Peak Ranch for the upcoming total solar eclipse.
On April 8, the eclipse will make its way through 13 U.S. states from the Southwest to the Northeast, but NASA’s current projections indicate the festival site will be one of the best locations for viewing, with 100% totality expected to last over four minutes and 20 seconds.
A whopping 100 artists, speakers and participants have been added to the roster for Texas Eclipse 2024, joining previously announced acts like Tipper, Subtronics, Zeds Dead, Seth Troxler, STS9 and many more.
Musical additions on the festival’s “final contact” lineup include a festival pre-party performance from ever-funky hip-hop and bass producer Daily Bread, a sunset set from Grammy-winning UK Grime MC Flowdan, acid techno queen Charlotte de Witte and visionary dubstep pioneer Skream.
Beyond this convergence of global electronic music’s biggest stars, Texas Eclipse 2024 will host science, sustainability and wellness workshops, and even an Indigenous Elders Space, teaching attendees about the eclipse’s “profound significance for Indigenous peoples.”
Announced today, Texas Eclipse will feature panel contributions from Astronauts associated with every space flight provider in the world–NASA, SpaceX Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic and Space Perspective–including respected space explorers Chris Sembroski, Ron Garan, Dr. Sian Proctor and Nicole Stott.
DJ Chrispy–AKA Australian astronaut Dr. Chris Boshuizen–will join the musical roster, bringing a “cosmic collection” of tracks with contributions from Bob Moses, LP Giobbi, Subtronics, Big Gigantic and more.
Further programming additions to Texas Eclipse 2024 include yoga and mindfulness coach Yogi Zain, wellness experts Adrian Grenier and Dr. Andre Weil, a future brains and bodies presentation from Dr. Peter Diamandis, and visual art contributions from Ritualist x Human Instruments and Sarah Kraning–known for their work with Meow Wolf and Grand Artique among other projects.
