The Avicii Museum In Stockholm Was Inaugurated By The Swedish Royal Family

Today, the Avicii Museum, known as Avicii Experience, was officially inaugurated under the blessing of Swedish royalty. H.R.H Prince Carl Philip and H.R.H Princess Sofia of the Swedish Royal Family were present at the ceremony alongside Avicii’s father Klas Bergling and other distinguished guests.

The official public opening for the museum will come this Saturday, February 26. Tickets are available for the launch weekend. Click here to purchase them.

The museum is formatted as a timeline of the life and career of Avicii, real name Tim Bergling. Visitors will have the opportunity to view music, private photos, newly produced videos, and personal belongings of Bergling. In essence, watch him grow from a bedroom producer to one of the biggest artists in the world.

“Tim would have been incredibly proud to be represented like this. The mix of a new digital take in combination with a classic museum would have appealed to him,” says Klas Bergling.
