The BPM Festival has announced official dates and a brand new location for its 2025 edition in Costa Rica.
The world-famous house and techno destination festival will return for its fourth edition in Costa Rica from January 8-12, 2025, unfolding across a new “sprawling” 200-acre venue near Tamarindo with two nighttime jungle stages and a daytime stage on the beach.
The new location will offer “an immersive day-to-night journey set against Costa Rica’s stunning sunsets and lush landscapes,” according to organizers, with a continued focus on elevated production and enhanced sound, lighting, and stage design. Select events will continue in Tamarindo proper, including daytime parties at various beach clubs with Chiquita’s Bar as a central locale.
The BPM Festival is also ushering in a new era behind the scenes. Experienced talent buyer Driss Skali of Talent 1st Management, known for his work for SXM Festival and more, has joined a revamped bookings team at BPM, signaling the festival’s commitment to a “finely curated lineup” that will be announced in the coming months.
Organizers are also building unique activations and spontaneous pop-up events in town, and The BPM Festival is partnering with several high-end hotels and transportation companies to ensure a streamlined new travel experience.
Since its inception as a smaller industry gathering in 2008, the post-New Year’s Eve bash has evolved into a celebrated tradition for house and techno fans heading south for the winter. In addition to flagship events in Mexico, Portugal, and Tel Aviv, The BPM Festival has held one-off shows in Brazil, Ibiza, Miami, Toronto, and more.
