The Prodigy Announce First Standalone North American Live Show Since 2017

The Prodigy

The Prodigy have announced their first standalone North American live show in eight years.

The foundational breakbeat and drum & bass band will team with Goldenvoice to bring their renowned live show to The Warfield in San Francisco on April 14, marking the British outfit’s first one-off show on the continent since 2017.

The show, sandwiched between The Prodigy’s anticipated return performances at Coachella, is the group’s only confirmed North American gig of the year. Founding members Liam Howlett and MC Maxim will be joined by drummer Leo Crabtree and guitarist Rob Holliday for each date of the brief U.S. run.

“WE ARE BUZZED TO BE PLAYING LIVE IN THE USA AGAIN, WE ALWAYS LUVED DOIN SHOWS THERE , ESPECIALLY AT THE WARFIELD…,” The Prodigy wrote on social media today. “WE WILL BE COMIN FULLY ARMED WITH BEATS AND BASSLINE TO TAKE THE ROOF OFF,,, BE THERE PEOPLE.”

Since returning to the stage in 2022 after the tragic death of vocalist Keith Flint in 2019, the 90s legends have been in top form, bringing their explosive, punk-rooted live performances to Europe’s biggest festivals and venues, from Reading & Leeds Festivals to the Isle of Wight, Manchester’s Warehouse Project, and beyond.

Now, as they prepare yet another stateside audio assault, The Prodigy are also back in the studio, according to a press release, crafting more blistering beats to follow their critically acclaimed LP, No Tourists, which locked in their record streak of seven consecutive UK No. 1 albums upon its release in 2018.

Chief among these iconic projects are 1994’s Music For The Jilted Generation, a then-rally-cry for hard-partying 90s punks, equipped hits like “Voodoo People” and “No Good (Start The Dance),” and the group’s bestselling masterpiece, The Fat of the Land, home to iconic tracks like “Smack My B**** Up,” “Breathe,” and “Firestarter.”

Pre-sale registration for The Prodigy at The Warfield in San Francisco is now open here. Pre-sale ticket access will begin on Tuesday, January 21, at 10AM PT. General on-sale will follow on Wednesday, January 22, at 10AM PT.
