The Tim Bergling Foundation recently announced a new concert event at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm. Titled “Avicii Arena Together For A Better Day,” this concert is intended to raise awareness about mental health issues among youth.
The event will feature mostly Swedish artists from multiple genres including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and EDM duo Galantis. There will also be a special performance from Ella Tiritiello, the 14-year-old singer who sang “For A Better Day” by Avicii at the opening of the Arena.
In May 2021, the iconic Ericsson Globe changed its name to the Avicii Arena in an effort to become a central location in service to improving mental health worldwide.
“I hope we succeed in creating a feeling that we really do this together, because it is only together that we can make a difference,” says Klas Bergling. “Young people are our future and we must be afraid for them. It is unacceptable that they are getting worse and that suicide rates are rising in that group – and it is our duty to do what we can to break that trend.”
The Tim Bergling Foundation was launched in March of 2019 to support mental health awareness by working with science-based organizations. Check out the full lineup for “Avicii Arena Together For A Better Day” below. Tickets will go on sale October 13 at 10AM CEST. Click here to purchase.
