As expected, recent spikes in COVID-19 cases across the globe has lead to the recent re-schedulings of events. Time Warp issued a statement online stating that Time Warp Mannheim 2021 has been moved to October 30, 2021. The event was originally supposed to take place on March 20, 2021, and has left ticket holders the option to either be refunded or receive a new ticket for the October show.
Current vaccine progress has made it seem hopeful that live events will return next summer. The UK just became the first country to approve Pfizer’s vaccine and the German administration is on track for people to be vaccinated by the end of the summer. We will most likely see more events re-scheduled, so let’s hope that we continue to see a progression with the vaccine so that we can return to live events come next autumn.
