Time Warp has shared the full lineup for its debut event in Spain this fall.
The world-renowned German promoter will host the first edition of Time Warp Spain at Madrid’s IFEMA exhibition center on October 4 and 5. Continuing the brand’s 30th anniversary celebration, the event will feature “mind-blowing sound,” stunning indoor production, and a roster of house and techno heavyweights set to perform across two stages.
Night one, Friday, October 4, will feature a diverse mix of house and techno acts. Artists like Turkish multihyphenate DJ Carlita, viral Brazilian selector Mochakk, New York icons The Martinez Brothers, and Ibiza veteran Andrea Oliva will offer four-on-the-floor performances. Adiel, Sara Landry, TRYM, and Spain’s own Fatima Haji will showcase a range of techno subgenres.
Day two, Saturday, October 5, features performances from a slew of techno legends, including Detroit pioneer Richie Hawtin, longtime Time Warp player and influential Cocoon Recordings boss Sven Väth, Madrid-born, Berlin-based favorite Héctor Oaks, and hard techno star Klangkuenstler. Markedly more melodic performances will come courtesy of Adriatique, ARTBAT, Daria Kolosova, and Vintage Culture.
Back in April, Time Warp launched its 30-year celebration with a special edition of its flagship festival in Mannheim. “Time Warp 30” fittingly featured 30 hours of nonstop music at the city’s Maimartkthalle, where the brand’s first event was held in 1995.
Later this year, the birthday celebration will continue with further events in Mannheim and an anticipated return to New York City’s Brooklyn Navy Yard for a two-night showcase with Teksupport.
