After commemorating 30 years in action with an anniversary installment of its landmark festival last month, Time Warp still has plenty more celebrating to do.
The revered German house and techno outfit has announced another two-day event at Mannheim’s Maimarkthalle this fall, with day one serving as a 60th birthday party for techno legend Sven Väth, and day two a continuation of Time Warp’s 30th anniversary celebration.
Time Warp’s “Two Days, Two Celebrations” show will kick off on Friday, October 25. Longtime Time Warp player, influential Cocoon Recordings boss and birthday boy Sven Väth will headline alongside some of modern techno’s biggest names, including Keinemusik’s &ME and Rampa, Cassy, Nina Kraviz, and Charlotte de Witte B2B Enrico Sangiuliano.
On Saturday, October 26, Time Warp will open up a second floor at the Maimarkthalle for performances from Adam Beyer, Deborah De Luca, Vintage Culture, Reinier Zonneveld and more.
Hard techno stars like Alignment, Cera Khin, and Nico Moreno are also slated to perform on night two, while genre-melding hybrid-techno sets will come from Indira Paganotto, Miss Monique and TRYM.
Check out the complete lineups for both nights in the post below.
In addition to the celebratory event in Mannheim, fall 2024 will also see Time Warp make its Spanish debut in Madrid, with Sara Landry, Klangkuenstler, Richie Hawtin and more, as well as return to New York City’s Brooklyn Navy Yard for a two-night showcase.
